Spring onion Paneer

Spring onion Paneer

This is my own original recipe as a result of just pure experimentation !! Lovely as a side dish in a family banquet.

  • One packet of paneer cubes
  • 2 bunches of large or 4 bunches of small chopped spring onion
  • 2 bell peppers chopped into sliced
  • 2 green bullet chillies
  • Tablespoon garlic/ginger paste
  • Teaspoon of cumin powder
  • Teaspoon of Coriander powder
  • Half teaspoon of red chill flakes
  • Teaspoon of chaat masala
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh chopped coriander
  1. Shallow fry paneer until golden brown. Drain and wipe excess oil with kitchen paper. Remove from pan and set aside.
  2. Fry peppers, chillies and half the spring onions till peppers are half cooked
  3. Add garlic/ginger paste and fry until oil separates
  4. Add in fried paneer and the rest of the spring onions. Continue to fry
  5. Add all of the dry spices
  6. Once cooked add lots of fresh chopped coriander
